Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside the Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work in a similar way. Some are essential for a site to work; others help the owner understand how the site is used.
2. How I use cookies
I keep cookies to a minimum.
- Strictly necessary cookies are always on. They remember your cookie choices and keep you logged in to the client portal. The website can't work properly without them, so they don't need your consent.
- Analytics cookies are off by default and are only set if you click "Accept all" or turn them on in "Manage". They help me understand which pages are useful so I can improve the site.
I also use Vercel Analytics, which counts visits in an anonymous, aggregated way without using cookies or identifying you.
I don't use advertising or social media tracking cookies.
3. Cookies on this website
The contact form draft may also be saved in your browser's session storage so you don't lose your answers if you refresh the page. It is deleted when you close the tab and is never sent to me until you submit the form.
If spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) is turned on for the contact form, Cloudflare may process technical information about your browser to check you're a real person. This is strictly necessary to protect the form.
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
bf_consent | Bloomfound Co | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choices | 6 months |
sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Strictly necessary | Keeps you securely logged in to the client portal | Session / until you log out |
_ga | Google Analytics | Analytics (consent only) | Distinguishes visitors to measure how the site is used | Up to 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Analytics (consent only) | Keeps track of your session for analytics | Up to 2 years |
4. Managing your choices
- When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Manage your choices.
- You can change your mind at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the client portal won't work.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, Google provides a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5. Changes to this policy
If I add or change the cookies I use, I'll update this page and, where needed, ask for your consent again.
